Dubai Chosen for World Expo 2020
The Gulf emirate of Dubai won the right to host the 2020 World Expo. It is the first Middle Eastern city to hold the event in its long history.
In 2012, Zogby Research Services surveyed public opinion of support for the World Expo bid, presenting its findings in July, 2012. The poll can be found here.

In order to help the UAW gauge public support for their bid to host the 2020 World Expo in Dubai. ZRS designed two separate surveys, one to assess national needs and the other regional needs. The objectives of both survey assessments was to statistically demonstrate that the bid is supported national and regionally among the private and public sector; that the public, both nationally and regionally, is excited at the prospect of Dubai hosting the Expo and would be interested in attending and/or volunteering; and the the business sector sees benefit in having an Expo in the UAE and that they are both interested in attending and more actively participating. The surveys were administered throughout the UAE and the Gulf region and were presented with an analysis, recommendations, and executive summary in July 2012.
